Examination guidelines for the students
The following Examination Rules should be strictly observed by the students during the Examination.
- The student should wear ID card properly
- The student should show admit card containing the names of course to sit for the examination. No one will be allowed to sit for the examination Without admit card
- The student is to ensure be that the invigilator signs the answer script During the examination
- The student should put all materials (bags, Books, Notes, etc) except Examination documents in the front part of the examination hall
- Students who come late be allowed to sit for Examination provided they do not ask for extra time. But no students will be allowed after 1st hour has Passed since the start of the examination
- Leaving the Examination room during the 1st hour of examination is not allowed. Students are allowed to leave examination hall only once for Maximum five minutes in the second hour of the examination
- Student is to ensure his/her signature in the attendance sheet for each Examination
The students should ensure that additional scripts (s) are duly signed by the Examination by a student:
- Communicating with fellow students in the examination hall
- Having a seat different from the seat plan
- Copying form other students’ scripts/report
- Copying form desk, scale, palm or from other incrimination documents
- Possession of any incriminating document whether used or not
- Change of script or question paper with fellow students
- Change of the Cover page or any inside page of the scripts
- Writing on the question paper and admit card
- Unruly behavior, which disrupts the examination environment
- Any sort of unruly attitude or behavior with the invigilator/teacher
- False personification in examination hall
- Any approach in director or indirect form influence the teacher for grade
- Submission of the scripts written form outside the Examination hall
If a student is found adopting any sort of unfair means in the examination hall, his offense shall be punishable and executed either by the Invigilator/ Examiner in the examination hall or through the ‘Discipline Committee’ on the basis of the report given by the invigilator/Examiner/Chairman of the Examination Committee.
The ‘in hall’ punishments could be any of the following:
- Warning by the invigilator/Examiner
- Holding of the examination scripts for certain time
- Expulsion from examination hall
- The Invigilator may submit confidential report about the unfair means adopted by the students(s) in the examination hall.
The disciplinary punishment could be any of the following:
- Cancellation of that particular examination
- Cancellation of the whole examination of the semester
- Temporary suspension from the program
- Imposition of fine
- Dismissal form the program
- Expulsion from the program/University.
