Master in Computer Application (MCA)
The Prime University offers the 2-Year Master in Computer Applications (MCA) Program. The course curricula consist of theoretical classes, laboratory sessions, project work and viva voce. The academic program of the 2-Year MCA Degree course consists of 6 semesters, each of 15-week duration and of 54 credits.
Required Academic Qualifications for Admission
Candidates having following degrees with a total of minimum 5 points (3 points for 1st Division/Class, 2 points for 2nd Division/Class and 1 point for 3rd Division/Class) or average CGPA 2.0 in all previous academic examinations are eligible to apply for the MCA program:
1) BSc Honors in Computer Science/Technology, or Equivalent Degree.
2) 2/3/4 Year Graduate Degree in any subject or Equivalent Degree with mathematics and statistics.
3) BSc Engineering or Equivalent Degree.
Candidates having no previous science background will have to complete the following courses known as MCA prerequisite before or during the first two semesters of MCA Program:

Courses Waivers
The following courses of MCA Program may be waived if
a) The courses or equivalent courses were completed with at least 2.5 Grade Point as undergraduate or graduate credit from a recognized academic institution, and
b) The equivalence committee considers the completed course as equivalent to the following MCA courses:
