LLB 2 Years (Preliminary & Final)
Introduction.
Department of Law at Prime University is excellent for studying law. This Department offers LLB (Preliminary & Final) Program for those who have obtained it least graduation degree from any other recognized University and want to build up professional carrier in the field of service of law. This Program is designed according to the demand of time.
Program Objective.
We have reached at the door of 21st century. This is a very modern civilization, no doubt. Adequate laws and the proper application and enforcement of such laws in every field is the molder of this modern civilized world, So the necessity of the study of law is beyond description and law has become one of the top most subjects among the students who have passed graduation level. With a view to making skilled, experienced, prominent and upright law professionals to serve the future world and to make up the gaps of adequate laws by making new, technical and proper law and showing the easier ways of their application and enforcement, Law Department of Prime University like other Universities of the world is working to reach this goal.
Duration of Program.
Duration of the LLB (Preliminary & Final) Program is two academic year and it is divided into two parts:(i) Preliminary (ii) Final.
Part – I : LLB Preliminary.
(Preliminary courses are for one academic year comprising 3 semester having 24 credits).
Part-II : LLB Final
(Final course are for another academic year comprising semester having 24 credits).
Admission Requirements.
Candidate seeking admission to LLB (Preliminary & Final) Program should have at least graduation degree from any recognized university.
Course Offered and Marks Distribution.
The LLB ( Preliminary & Final) Degree Program Consists of 16 course divided into two parts: (i) Preliminary (Part-I), (ii) Final (Part-II) and each part is divided into 3 (three) semesters and each semester is constituted with required number of courses and each course carries 3 credits.
Evaluation & Promotion Procedure to Final Year.
Each student of the Preliminary & Final year must have at least 75% of Class attendance in each course. Otherwise no student will be allowed to sit for the semester final examination.
At the end of successful completion of each semester in LL.B Preliminary (Part-I), there will be an examination for each individually to evaluate the student’s performance. The students obtaining minimum D Grade in each course individually will be allowed for promotion to the final year. But the result of the preliminary examination will not contribute to influence the result of the final year in any way.
Award of the LL.B Degree
The Award of LL.B Degree will be to the students on the Basis of the result of Final Year (Part-I) Examinations. In the final year examination (Part-II), the students will have will have to obtain average grade of D in 8 Courses. In addition to that an average grade of D in 8 course in Preliminary (Part-I).
