The Controller of Examinations:

The controller of Examinations shall work under the direct administrative control of the Vice Chancellor.

The responsibilities of the Controller of Examinations are noted below:

a)  To carry out all works connected with the conduct of examinations of the University.

b)  To work as the custodian of all question papers, examination scripts, mark sheets, tabulation sheets, certificates/ documents and all records pertaining to the examinations.

c)  To sign all Certificates/Diplomas/Transcripts issued on the basis of the results of the examination along with the Vice Chancellor where necessary.

d)  To re-check the results prepared by the Examination Committees before publication with the records submitted to him by the Examination Committees.

e)  The Controller of Examinations shall preserve the final version of the moderated question papers supplied to him / his office at least 3 days before the commencement
of any examination. The nominated person of the respective Examination Committee shall collect question papers and other relevant papers form the office of the controller of Examinations at least one hour before the commencement of the commencement of the examination.

f)  The Controller of Examinations shall publish the results of the examinations on the recommendations of the respective Examination Committee and approval of the Vice Chancellor.

g)  To perform such other works, as may be from time to time assigned to him by the Vice Chancellor and / or by the Academic Council.
